True story. We met a talented designer by chance at a wonderful Artists Market called Spotlight on Art, where we quickly discovered that we loved each other's jewelry designs, and the designer also loved our idea of giving back to charity. It was this chance meeting that gave us the idea to feature other amazing designers on our site, all while continuing our mission to give back.
We Are One Designs is pleased and so excited to present even more beautiful jewelry and as we have promised since our inception: the concept stays the same where 20% of your purchase goes to charity – today and everyday. Thank you for your continued support in helping us make a difference.
What began as a hobby, Amy Left founded Throwing Stars Jewelry one night while playing with jewelry beads at her dining room table. It didn't take long for beading to open the door to goldsmithing. Soon thereafter, Amy quit "the day job," apprenticed with a Colorado jeweler, took goldsmithing classes at night, and started selling to some local stores & farmers markets in Vail, CO. Currently, Amy lives and works in Atlanta, GA with her husband and 2 beautiful girls. Her jewelry designs include mostly sterling silver and 14K gold-filled wire, with small accents of precious and semi-precious stones. Amy grew up in the artist community of Laguna Beach, California and was graduated from Boston University.
