Camp Twin Lakes is a network of camps providing life-changing experiences for kids with serious illnesses, disabilities, and other challenges. We work in partnership with over 40 different Camp Partner organizations who each serve a different population of campers- including kids with cancer, diabetes, HIV, muscular dystrophy, transplants, Tourette Syndrome, brain injuries, developmental disabilities, kids in foster care, and a variety of other challenges. These organizations provide the campers, volunteer counselors, doctors and nurses, and expertise in their population. Camp Twin Lakes provides the facilities, food service, specially trained activities staff, expertise in camping, as well as a 70% subsidy for every person who comes to Camp, with our Camp Partners covering the remaining 30% of our cost. Camp Twin Lakes relies on generous donations from individuals, foundations and corporations to support our programming.

Camp Twin Lakes has two overnight campsites- one in Rutledge and one in Winder- that are both fully wheelchair-accessible and were designed specifically to accommodate the medical and physical needs of our campers. During the summer, we have a different camp group every week, and during the school year we have weekend camp programs. In addition, we have day camp programs in Atlanta, outreach programs at various locations around the state, and we bring camp activities into children’s hospitals across Georgia through our Camp To Go program.
